Dusty's Place is a dog-friendly self-catering holiday home located on the outskirts of the small village of Gleneely on the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal. It is within walking distance of the two local pubs and shop. The house features four bedrooms (one ensuite), two living rooms, kitchen with mod cons, bathroom, downstairs WC and an enclosed garden. A good selection of books, CDs, DVDs, videos and local maps are available for use during your stay. Dogs are allowed throughout the downstairs area of the house and have a fully fenced garden to play in.
Home of Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland, the Inishowen Peninsula is surrounded by beaches carved out by the Atlantic Ocean and is a haven for walkers, golfers and anglers. Beaches in Culdaff and Carrowmena are four miles away, with the magnificent Five Finger Strand and Kinnego Bay both a short drive away. These beaches are often practically deserted and are great for walking with your dogs.
Golf courses are located at Ballyliffin, Greencastle, Redcastle and Buncrana. The area is dotted with megalithic tombs, stone circles and ring forts. You can follow the Inishowen 100 mile long sign-posted touring route around the peninsula and and take the opportunity to experience some of Ireland's most breathtaking scenery.
A range of attractions are close by including the Maritime Museum and Planetarium, Cairn Visitor Centre and the Dunree Military Museum. This is a great place to base yourself if you are traveling around Donegal, going shopping in Derry or Letterkenny or visiting the Giant's Causeway.
